Love Lesson #1 - Trust but not
I'm no love doctor, not even had a real relationship before. All the failure in my past relationship, I treated it as a lesson and as a test by God. A test that He knows I could handle. A test that He knows I would learnt, something to guide me in this life. I can't thank Him enough for everything.
Trust. I have no issue to trust anyone. In any relationship, the trust will be the first thing we should have to ensure the relationship grows strong. I do have doubts, and I have learned that doubts are important too.
The trust you are giving is not like the mutual trust you had on the road, with other road users. The trust you need to offer is the trust that comes from your heart. The trust that you have to risk all the consequences.
But, don't ever be dumb or stupid. The trust you offer, should always base on facts. You would have to ask for facts and prove. Not in everything though, but as precautions should you might be cheated one day.
Anyway, in anything you argue on, don't let the trust fade. Communicate well, as an adult. Once you shut the person down, you wouldn't be able to understand what trust is. It will only shows that you are not sincere. Every explanation worth to be heard. It will always hurt you, but worth to help you to decide; whether to trust, or to doubt.
Once, you commit to give your trust to someone, make sure it worth it. Worth every tears, every smile, every thought, every effort you put in the relationship.
