visiting Genting, after almost 20 years...

I have no idea how I did not have the interest to go up to Genting as a place to chill. Well... Im not the person who really loves to travel or something like that... although I'm the person who can't stay still and doing nothing. What i could still remember, my last visit to Genting when i was 6, 7 or maybe 8. I can still remember the Antique cars... and the quiet little garden at the back of Theme Park Hotel..

Antique Car ~ Picture from here

I automatically remember this park.. coz i have a lot of pictures here, on my last visit.

Actually, my mum had a convention up here, every year, ( i think). She always come up here but doesn't really went around. So, this time, she booked the hotel longer, so me and my siblings could join her later after her convention. Apparently, my sister and brother couldn't joined. So, it's only me and my youngest brother who tag along with my mum since the first day of her convention, went up to Genting. I have never know, it is so cheap to go there  by bus!! If i know this earlier, I would love to come here often! It only cost me RM8.70 single way and the Genting skyway fare is included! soooo niiccceeeee...

You'll be arriving at Genting Hotel if you use the skyway. So, I have to walk to the hotel where my mum stays. And... this is the view from my room's window!

The first thing I heard from my window, people screaming! Obviously it's from the people who's on the Space Shot! It goes more than 60km per hour.. going up and down... heh.. my head was aching to see the people going up and down.

I spend one night there, just to stroll around, because all my sibling are not here, so it is not fun to go to the theme park when there's not enough crowd. Plus, my mum is not going to  join  me and my brother for any thrilling ride we'll have. So, we made a deal to come back here again just to spend the whole day in the theme park! Yeay! that's the spirit!

For those who haven't been here, please do enjoy my pictures!! hahaha! Owh, we went to Snow World, but couldn't bring cameras in. There will be a photographer there, but you'll be charged for your pictures. Some tourist did bring their cameras in, but was asked to leave them out by the workers there. When you go there, remember to check the time they open their slide inside. If not, you'll be disappointed in there because it is such a small area of nothing to do inside. You'll just be there to stand the cold! Hahaha!

The food there is quite expensive..err.. i mean really expensive, but you can always choose the fast food available there like KFC, McDonalds, and Marrybrown. Yup! Marrybrown is everywhere at Genting! Well, for those of you prefer 'Nasi Campur' those 3 plates down there, cost me RM 44+ without drinks! Well, couldn't complained though, because the food is fresh, and tasted good.

For ladies going there without any guys as companion, please be aware of cons. Or should i say, a fraud la.. While me n my mum was walking down the First World Hotel garden, a lady approached my mum, telling that she's cutting her trip short, so, she's selling her already paid room. My mum declined, and she went away. The funniest part was, that same night, she approached me while I was seating next to my mother, but on a different bench. She was asking me for money, saying that, '' kak, saya tertinggal ATM, jadi sekarang, tak ada duit nak balik, kalau boleh akak pinjam bagi saya naik bas.'' Seeing her face, so familiar, and she was shocked when my mother turned around looking at her, she ran away. Half hour later, we saw her, talking to this two girls, when we approached the girl, they said that the lady was trying to sell of her paid room. Haih... maybe she lost all her money on gambling.. or she actually do that for living. But we saw this one guy always following her/with her/ or holding her handbag for her. Scary world. Oh, by the way, the lady can be desribed as late 30's, Chinese, shoulder length straight hair with small eyes. Hope no one will believe her!1 I'mm so pissed at that time, but didn't have any proof to report her.

Anyway, for those who still haven't been here..( i think among my friends, it will be only me! ^-^), do come! Genting, really is the City of Entertainment!

Anyway...
